In addition, the NCSE is hosting the Federal Funding in Environmental Research and Education Dialogue, February 2, 2004 at the Ronald Reagan building and International Trade Center. Meeting is open to all members of the council of Environmental Deans and Directors (CEDD. I have the outline of the University - Federal Dialogue on Environmental Research and Education and if you would like a copy, call the NERA office and I will see that a copy is faxed to you.

Agriculture as a Producer and Consumer of Energy
The Farm Foundation in conjunction with the USDA off ice of Energy Policy and New Uses will host a meeting 'Agriculture as a Producer and Consumer of Energy', June 24-25, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington VA. This conference is designed to establish a baseline of information on the current status of agriculture as a producer and consumer of energy. Commissioned papers will provide a survey of current knowledge. Selected papers will complement and supplement the commissioned papers.
Selected papers will be organized around Agricultures role as an energy producer and Agriculture's role as an energy consumer. If you need the call for papers, please call the office and I will have them faxed to you.
